Local Notes

Unincorporated Harris and Montgomery County lots around Tomball and Magnolia often run on septic and private well systems, so equipment pads, plumbing runs, and excavation are planned around those systems during the site evaluation, not discovered mid-dig. Larger lot sizes in this corridor also open up more freeform gunite shapes than a tighter in-town lot would allow.

Freezes are rare but not impossible in the Houston area; equipment and exposed plumbing should be freeze-protected (insulated or set to auto-circulate) for the handful of nights a year it actually matters.
